Default Spool VS. Posi

Doesn't a mini spool and a posi do the same thing? What would be the diffrence, would I get the same advanteges of a posi? Or would a spool make my truck unstretable?

You don't want a mini spool. The spider gears get replaced by a splined sleeve that couples them together permanently. Look into a detroit tru track or similar.

Spool means no variation between wheel speed. You go around a curve the inside wheel has to travel less distance. With a spool both wheels will travel the same speed all the time. So around a corner the tire will spin, chirp, or scrub leading to accelerated tire wear and wreck in the rain if you aren't careful. If you like the driveablity of your truck don't do a spool. More hassle than they are worth.

i gotta full spool in my dirt track race car, which works the same way as a mini spool but takes away the spider gears and carrier..but when you turn it is very hard on tires..in time you will wear out your tires pretty quick
