Default Front diff leaking

Are there any common places for the front diff on these trucks to leak from? Mine's been leaking ever since I R&R'ed it back in November to pull my oil pan off. It seems to be getting a little worse lately.

Mine leaked from the pinion seal, and I've heard of the RTV leaking where the 2 halves meet. I've also noticed some sweat around the top of the vent tube on mine, I believe that there's a re-designed vent cap, but I'm not 100% sure.

Mine is probably leaking from where the two halves meet then, I noticed a couple drips of fluid chillin on one of the bolts. Is it difficult to re-RTV the joint?

Check Your Drain/fill Plugs..... It Is Common Taht If You Dont Change The Seal On Them They Will Leak.... The Halves Arent Taht Bad If You Are Comfortable Taking It Apart.... But I Wouldnt Recoomend Just Putting Some Over Whats There.... Would Advise To Take Apart At Least A Lil To Make Sure You Get It Sealed Properly

I've torn my transfer case apart, so I'm not worried about taking the diff apart, I just don't know how exactly, and I don't want a bunch of **** to fall out when I undo the bolts the wrong way

Is it as easy as removing the bolts, splitting the case, re-sealing, and reinsalling bolts?

Also check the axle seals. Mine leaked there a few months ago and it looked like the case was leaking. The oil dripped down to the bottom of the case. Worth a look before you go splitting the case.
