Decent tires, well set up suspension (Bars of some sort, driveline angles right, shocks set up for weight transfer)

I would look into a true trac and gears. Are you spinning both tires?

well yeah. but not on his street tires on a 20. i lifted the wheel in my 96 with stock suspension and 2 inch shackle with no over load and relocated shocks with monroe's from advance auto in the rear. no traction device. never wheel hopped

it has ls but the right spins alot worse. caltracks are sway bars ? I'm new to this hooking/suspension thing, trying to learn up. Yes it's 4wd but it's the old style in the floor and I tryed it on takeoff but it didn't help. I got beat by some cars I shouldn't of because they jumped me off the line cuz I was spinning if i layed into it at all. stalling it up just a little bit was the same result.

Tru trac and cal tracs.. Get better tires, TBH good years are garbage.. Check into some sticker everyday tires.. Cal tracs are about the same price at dealers as they are from calvert racing in general

Look around the salvage yards for a 14 bolt rear with 3.42's. They are fairly common to find.

Once you get away from the SUPER weak 10 bolts that came in the GMT400 trucks, then maybe you can focus on getting it on the ground.

I have broken 3 10 bolts behind stock TBI 350's.

I looked at the calvert site and they didn't have a k 1500 option. is there a difference between the 2wd an 4wd rear leaf setup? Wondering if I can just order the c 1500 set. Thanks.
