Well that's it, the 65 is done, I pulled out of the driveway 1st took a long time to shift and then it slipped did some grinding and shifted to 3rd and never left 3rd. Time to add some upgrades.

I've been running on FLT Stage 4 w/Vig 3400, and hubby and I know this stage 4 isn't enough for the new set up. So the thought is going with 65E from FLT.

Where in the south are you?

The thought of a 4l80 is nice BUT with my transfer case and this being my DD and other strange unknowns Ill be sticking with a 65e I have some things to replace inside like plastic accumulator pistons and I can install the rest of my HD2 shift kit.

My 2-4 on built 65e went out this past summer leaving me with 1,3,R only. Turned out to be the band rivets failed. Ended up getting a "built" band.

What initially caused a problem was the snap ring on the servo cover poped out because I didn't seat it all the way like I thought, I drove the truck the servo blew out and leaked all the fluid out, I had a problem with my 2-3 shift from that day until now I'm missing 2 and 4 so it has 122k miles I figure I'll throw in some new clutches and such and a few upgraded parts
