i'm wanting to lower my truck 2/4. i want to go with the spindles to keep my factory ride quality. do they have companies that make spindles that can be used with 16" and 20" rims. i would like to ride my 20's in the summer and 16' for the winter. i know mcgaughys have spindles for both. but i want to stay with one kind of spindle so that i can run both rim sizes. or will i have to go the springs route. thanks...

 

You Can Get Spindles To Run Both But You Have To Mess With Your Ball Joints To Run The 16's And Will Be Ok With 20's. .........i Guess If You Dont Want To Do That Go Coils But I Would Always Suggest Spindles Over Coils

Really? More info por favor. I see people saying Belltech stinks, but then others say their new stuff is good(copied McGaughys), everyone agrees McGaughys is good, but their spindles won't work for my 16's if I don't want to worry about the balljoing flippage. DJM I have heard more good than bad. What experience did you have that makes you say that?

Welds cracking in the spring pocket on the lower control arm on all types of trucks. Seen it first hand a couple of times. Belltech stuff used to be the **** but now they are being bought out and sued so I think they are goin down the tubes. McGaughys is the best in the business.
Mcgaughys spindle for 16" wheels you dont have to flip the ball joint it just needs to be shimmed up so it doesnt hit the wheels(#2000c). Or go with the other that needs no mods at all but you must use 17" wheels or larger(#2003t).

To Run 16's On The #2000c You Have To Shim Up The Ball Joints So They Dont Hit The Wheels And With Those Running 20's You Will Be Fine Also.
The #2003t's Are For 17" Or Larger Wheels Only And There Is No Need To Mess With Ball Joints At All.
