You pulled the front driveshaft out before towing it on that dolly right?

It's been a long time since I've been into the performance side of things, but I'll still show up for a truck meet

Ya. Not dickness taken. I'm not blaming anyone or anything but me. It's a chance I took.

Assuming I never put it in 4wd everything would be ok but since faulty components on the transfer case allowed it to go into 4wd by itself it's just a crappy situation.

I shoulda taken the front shaft off. I'm to blame for that.
It's all good I put a lot of money in this thing knowing that **** happens.
Its not my daily driver and it's my first vehicle I've done all my own work to so it's just a big learning curve.

It's all good I got a big shop and it just allows me to redo it the way I want it.

Well I'm glad u got a good attitude about it. If anyone asks me about only changing one set of gears I'll tell them about this. Gl

Ya I try to be optimistic. I don't post stuff and not expect any crap. As long as no one compares me to custom2500.
I'm building a house and I'm at the shop with it so it's all good.

Last year I was afraid to do anything to it if
You've seen my before and afters I've come a long way.

Definitely take off the front drive shaft if its a push button 4wd. They said this happens quite often but not a big deal with the same gears obviously.

I'm moving to AZ won't need 4WD anymore. Got good use out of the 4wd for 4-5 years.
