Did you pick up the pinion nut? I dont see it in the pics. Also was it a new pinion nut or was it reused?

Ya they think I'm stuck since I'm from out of town and the rear is locked up.
The cost to tow is 59$ for the one way trailer and cost of diesel for the ol 05 Ram 3500 dually.

The nut is missing as well as my license plate Pretty sure it was new. Put the true trac and gears in at the same time. Hopefully my true trac and gears are ok.

I cant tell you now your gears are shot. That pic you posted of the yoke, it splines directly to the pinion gear and it looks all boogered up.

check out car-part.com in the area you are in for a rear end..i found one for my tahoe for $200 bucks on a thursday afternoon. pick it up friday morning, put it in, and drove to colorado 13 hours straight lol...you only need simple tools to swap it out and get it back on the road..basic sockets and a few jack stands and your back on the road

Thanks for the link. Ya I've done my suspension transmission rear end and turbo all myself that's why when the dealership said 1400$ to put a over priced new one in I couldn't help but laugh.

Ya highway robbery. They think I'm stuck here. At lead now I can put my angled shims in and get a beefed up driveshaft.

Ya. It everytime from Rons Machining. Got the front Gears and install kit too just never put them in. GM said my 4wd modulator or actuator is bad and it
Put itself in 4wd and the difference in gears tore up the rear.
