Default Some more 4l80e swap questions

first, im new here, iv creep around the forums for awhile, and finally signed up, a lot of good info and write ups on here.

Any-who, i picked up a junk 2000 OBS 2500, and just so happens it had a freshly rebuilt 4l80e with 12 O'clock bolt hole in it. Opened it up and no film, the filters not even black yet. Anything i should check for to make sure it was done right? Im planning on throwing a trans-go HD2 in it, change fulid (Because most spilled out, fluid was still light pink no smell to it) and calling it a day.

Its going in my 2001 ext. Cab 5.3 with a factory 2 piece. What i cant figure out is do i need to shorten the drive shaft or not? iv found no for sure answer for the two piece.

No you can just slide your carrier bearing back and it will fit just fine.

No you'll have to get the th400 car style yoke and more than likely will have to cut it down.

I also have tubular crossmembers for the swap as well..
