yep it's the one im talking about...
that's basically what I feel...I thought someone hit me from behind when I released the brakes to pull forward...I didn't think about the tow/haul...i'll drive it again today and see if maybe I accidently pushed the button

 

I get a 2-3 flair shift from time to time. Unusually it's almost always the first 2-3 shift of a drive cycle and usually occurs after parking on a decline and still warm from the previous drive.

 

Does all who have these issues have same tuner?

no it's random...my problems seem to be electrical thou as there was a notice with the tranny plug from gm

 

Was this recall /notice just for the 11' model ?

Anyway yeah I bet you just felt the harsh shift back into 1st gear in tow- haul mode. It surprised me when I first felt it also , I never thought about the truck starting off and returning to 2nd gear under easy driving in normal mode ,

I think we may just not be used to how the 6 speed shifts/ acts , I'm used to my 80E in my truck and my Van . Prob gonna be while of driving before I get the "feel" of the 6sp.

yes it was....no mine is still doing it from a stop and go so it's a issue....the rest of the time it shifts and drives like normal

I'm putting well over 500 rwhp with a 2800 stall triple disc through mine and haven't had any issues so far.

 

im at 7-8# boost and don't drive it to hard...40k cooler...just my luck
