Default so i ordered a circle d verter

So i been wanting a converter for a while now and the money tree is going right for the moment and now is the time to try one out. Called up chris at circle d and he suggested a billet single disc 265mm/10.5 ". He told me it should nice for a dd and could Prolly tow up to 5k lbs. He said it should be around 28-2900 before boost hits and should flash up to 3400 leaving on boost. Sounds like its should be good for me. I just wanna know what kind of improvement yall think I'm gonna see over over my stock 80e converter. I currently can only get 1900 out of it now without doing the sy Ty shuffle. I can build 3-4 lbs when i do shuffle but its ridiculous trying to do that at the track. Lemme know what you think. Thanx

It is a great mod. It was weird at first when I put my 9.5" 3200 yank converter in my truck but I slowly got used to it. It will make all the difference in the world when your drag racing.

Was he able to build it with 6 bolts or just 3? When i emailed him about a single disk 80e converter he said it would only have 3 bolts to the 80e flexplate. I want all 6 so i held off on purchasing and im not putting a 4l60 plate on

I dont see why 3 or 6 bolts would matter.
Your not goin to sheer them. Especially if your using ARPs.
That last circle D stall i had was a triple disk with 6 pads. But ever since ive gone 80E, ive only used 3 bolts. And thats goin on 4 years now.

My guess is .4-.6. Lets go try a before and after this weekend
