slide-a-link

hey, im working on my project s10 with hopes of tapping mid high 10s in the 1/4 since this is a truck forum i was wondering what you guys use to get traction, the motor will be a 385 flowed and ported balanced out 9000 rpm small block chevy. trans is over hauled turbo 400 and rear end is a ford 9 inch with 3.73 posi. in all reality i would love to narrow and tub it but thats kinda getting away from the point of the truck. so im forced to look for other ways to plant the *** end down, i was wondering what you guys think of caltracs or slidealinks thanks for the help. happy 4th

When I built my S-10, I was ganna go with caltracs... everyone I talked to said that the slida links were good, bud they were always needing adjustment. I wanted something to bolt on and go, not spend alot of time adjusting. caltracs, once you get them adjusted you can leave them alone.
I used the bolt in traction bars for the S10, and mine runs 7.20s all day long.
