hi all,
my names john, i live in new orleans, im in college for electrical engineering ( = low funding), been a member of ls1 tech/ preformance truck for a while now, just never really had time to contribute. i've got a 2001 s10 xtreme with a ls1/t56 swap. the ls1 is pretty much stock except for a ls6 cam, tune, and cai. i have a griffin radiator with dual electric fans, 160 thermostat. its also got dual 3" exhaust. The only problem there is i have the stock manifolds (modified to fit) from the t/a the motor is out of. i plan on welding some LTs this summer when i get some extra time and can get to machine shop with a good tig welder. run bilstein suspension w/ Competition Engineering slide-a-links with the stock 7.5" rear and 4.11 gears (soon to be swapped with a moser 12bolt and S&W race 4 Link setup) and a custom aluminum driveshaft. Really the only thing left stock is the body/rims/interior so it keeps a completely stock look from the outside until i crank it up and then people constantly do the double look because of the great sound a v8 makes. future mods included built motor/ forced induction. took it to the track for the first time on crappy 245/50/16 cooper tires and ran a 13.4 @ 106 spins like a mother through 1/2 and begining of 3 once it hooks though it takes. i plan on getting some MT streets soon.

pretty stout setup and it gets 25mpg on the interstate... better than the stock 2.2l I4
