i have trouble spinning my 275/55 r17, i have them on 17" denali wheels wich are 9 1/2" wide, my tire width is about 10 1/2-11". they give a little lower gear ratio than a stock hieght and they are nice and wide for traction. im currently running toyo proxies, they are sticky as hell if ur looking to run in a street class.

also i have a two inch drop in the back, but im going lower when i win the lotto. so i made sure i had plenty of room in the wheel well. i would really recomend getting some denali wheels for the back the back spacing is perfect.

How did you get a 17" Denali rim that wide? Rim width is measured between the insides of the wheel, are you sure you measured right?

i measured it with tire on, so take a 1/4" off each side for the lip, its still atleast 9". i still get 10 1/2 of tire fully pumped up, 11" loafed.

You could match the size with a Nitto 450. They make exactly the same dimension tire - 275/50 R17. This is what I'm doing.
