I dont know if their 3 disk is like our 3 disc clucthes we use in dirt track{ We call them mini clucthes} but you can slip them much befreo they burn up the disk. Ours are either in or out and wouldnt be fun to drive for a everyday driver. I could be way off.

people use the 3 disk if you are going to stay locked up on dyno runs or use a full lock up 3rd gear when you are running at the track or if you're towing. i'd do it just cuz its ALOT better

I was just wodnering how you could say its so much better without personally experiencing it. Me personally, I dont care too much for the triple disk lockup clutch because it takes alot of tuning to get it smoothed out to where its not annoying when it locks up in OD. I will still be going to one eventually due to the power I am/will be putting out and a single isnt oging to cut it anymore.

I love mine. The first time I drove it I thought I gained a gear in OD lockup. I went triple disk because I tow and because Chuck (FLT) said so!!!!! This is a daily driver 70% highway 30% city and I tow an enclosed motorcycle trailer (2-4 bikes) a couple times a month. 40K so far on my Vig and it still fels the same as day 1.

a single is more then enough, I wouldnt go triple unless you are going to try and lock it on a WOT or are going to be spraying or FI later.
