Default Which shocks?

I need shocks for my 2000 ex-cab 1500 4x4, which ones should I go with. I am a carpenter and usually carry materials around on a regular basis. I also have a enclosed trailer that I tow (about 3500lbs).

-stock replacements
-Bilstiens
-Edelbrock

Bilstien 5100s are the way to go. Rancho RSX's are not bad either. Had RSXs on my old F-150 and they worked great but most people leveling out their GMs are running Bilstiens.

I've been more than extremely pleased with my KYB Monomax's especially when hauling or towing.

i just replace my stock "blue" shocks with the "red" Z71 shocks, I'm happy with the results.

I bought brand new take off on ebay for like 80 bucks shipped (for all 4).
