Default shift silenoid stuck open

Replaced the 1-2 now its the 2-3 any thoughts on what could be causing this. It goes into limp mode and stalls way up before actually moving now wonder what the tranny files look like to get it to do that.

Not really sure, my brothers did this recently and we replaced both of them. Now the code is coming up again, we cant figure it out. He has a 03 SSS w/a tt3000 so I imagine that it is stall related.

The shift solenoids aren't bad. You just need to turn the code(s) off with edit or a custom tune. The pcm sees what it thinks is too much converter slip, and throws that code. The reason it's stalling so high is because it's locked in second gear when you take off. It also keeps you out of OD, and keeps the converter from locking.

It's a stall thing. Some people don't see the code with 3000 stalls, some do. I didn't throw the code with my TT3000 but I threw it on the first drive with my 3800.
