I had the trans-go deleivered a few weeks ago. After reading the directions I would plan on at least a few hours, more like a whole day for a first timer.

It deffinetly isnt the same as doing one on a TH350- drill a hole here, remove a ball there, replace a spting here.......

The servo is really easy though.

Servo's aren't bad. The right tools. Picks to get the o-ring's out. Pry bars to hold the cover in while you get the c-clip back on. Space was the big issue for me. Had to install it by pieces. Putting back a c-clip while holding back spring pressure right at the end of your grasp was a bit of a pain.

Going to install a transgo, possibly this weekend. After watching the video and reading the instructions several times doesn't look to be to bad. Messsy maybe.

I found the servo to be an easy job. I had a lot less trouble with the e clip than most people though. I had to put mine in piece by agrivating piece also but it still wasn't hard at all.

but tranny fluid is good, but its better to get it in ur blood then in ur mouth

my tranny guy removed 2 or 4 bolts for the crossmember and then threw a support on the bottom of the crossmember that way it slightly droped it enough to remove the stock servo, then we threw it in there and was done with in under 20 mins

There are 2 versions of the kit as I understand it. One is for the professional the other is for the DIY. The DIY kit comes with a VHS video in it. Really helps with the install but do not follow it entirely. Follow the written, they are more up to date.

I kept the mess to a minimum. Verry large drain pan. Put mine in yesterday. Got it done but not something I want to do again anytime soon. I used quite a bit of ATF to hold the gaskets together. Large amounts of vaseline to hold the checkballs. Can't believe I didn't loose any checkballs. Thank goodness for magnets.
