Shift kit and servos?
How hard is it to istall a shift kit and servo?
|
I had the trans-go deleivered a few weeks ago. After reading the directions I would plan on at least a few hours, more like a whole day for a first timer.
It deffinetly isnt the same as doing one on a TH350- drill a hole here, remove a ball there, replace a spting here....... The servo is really easy though. |

Going to install a transgo, possibly this weekend. After watching the video and reading the instructions several times doesn't look to be to bad. Messsy maybe. |
I found the servo to be an easy job. I had a lot less trouble with the e clip than most people though. I had to put mine in piece by agrivating piece also but it still wasn't hard at all.

Hopefuly I can figure it out.

I think I drank a few qts too that guy in the vid came out clean though:jest: :eyes: anyways use the vid for reference only follow the written instructions they're different I also used a thin layer of white lithium grease to hold that damn seperator plate gasket in place worked great:judge: |
but tranny fluid is good, but its better to get it in ur blood then in ur mouth :naughty:
my tranny guy removed 2 or 4 bolts for the crossmember and then threw a support on the bottom of the crossmember that way it slightly droped it enough to remove the stock servo, then we threw it in there and was done with in under 20 mins |
I will be installing a transgo in the near future, what video do you guys keep referring too? Just another interested mind here.... :lurk:
