The stiffness is still there when the transmission warms up.

The only things that could effect the 1-2 shift other than the seperator plate would be the 1-2 accumulator or the 1-2 accumulator valve in the valve body. Vince

Vince,

I've checked and the seperator plate that was drilled was removed and the original non driled plate was put back in. Do you know what color spring is originally in the 1-2 accumulator valve in the valve body? My instructions are showing that I would add a white spring for the Actuator valve and one for the accumulator valve depending on the type of second piston that is used. I only have one white spring now and it may be possible that they didn't remove and replace the white spring in the accumulator valve and that could be causing the problem.

What about the Aluminum 1-2 Accumulator Piston VS the soft plastic one that's in there stock?

Im looking at removing my B&M as it's trashed my driveability and possibly my trans.
