Let me tell ya. I'm a first time customer of his and his communication and explanations are unbelievable. Texts pics of good and bad parts. Worn parts. Explains what each part does...

Turns out the pump rotor broke. Common with converters and not being spaced properly. Which pisses me off because I paid a profession transmission shop to originally build it and install the converter years ago. If they would have put washers in between the flex plate and converter pads it would have never broke. The Trans was also not as built as I thought it was.

75 cents worth of 3 washers ffffffffed me. Guys take the 15 min and check your spacing.

How much spacing is there supposed to be? I have a 4l65 and will be getting a new yank ss3200 so I'll need to know that before it gets all buttoned up.

I believe he said 1/8 between the converter and flex plate when the converter is fully seated in the trans. I will confirm this.

He built one for me, it was a beast and shifted great. I beat on it for about a year before I sold the truck, never missed a beat. When I need one in the future, he will be the first I would call.

I just installed my lvl 6 rpm transmission, Great guys. Let them know you are a member they give a forum discount. According to everyone I have talked with spacing should be between 1/8 and 3/16ths. My trans did the same as OP's cruse set at 65 mph and lost all gears, no noise.

You don't get much better than that in this day and age.
thank you yes I do my best to make sure that issues don't arise but they do sometimes in that case a valve was stuck in the valve body.

Do you build anything similar to say the RPM level 6 and 7 4l60 transmissions? Looking for something to hold upwards of 600/600.
