Locking a single disc converter at wot just does not makes sense and I'm sure Dave at Yank will tell you the same thing. A good multi disc will work better for doing this. However even with a good multi disc (with time) you will see the same results in a combo that makes good power! Trust me I have seen it and I don't care who says it won't happen because it will. It's not one of those situations if it will fail as to when it will fail kind of things. I feel that if you have an efficient converter there is no reason to have to lock the thing at wot. Yank makes a great converter so if you like the way it has treated you stick with it. Just my two penny's. Vince

im still running the converter that came out of the wrecked 05 HD 6.0/80e i got my trans from. lol.
