Default ?'s about brake fluid pressure

Ok, so I have an 03 1500 which has 4 wheel disc and my gf has an 05 which has rear drums. Believe it or not her truck stops better than mine, and I put some really good pads on mine. I think what is happening is disc requires more pressure. I plan on going with a big brake kit, but that still doesn't fix the psi problem. My question.. is there someone who puts out a higher psi brake booster??? I think that would make a night and day difference. Truck in sig

When I swapped to hydraboost it feels like I have more pressure at the pads for a given pedal pressure compared to the vacuum booster. I don't know the master cylinder bore sizes off hand, but if the hydraboost cylinder is larger and has good pressure from the steering pump I am willing to bet there is more brake line pressure.
