by the way I think your shiftpoints are way low..

Looking at my dyno chart the power starts to drop off at 6200 rpms. I havent really played around with shift points at the track any.

yu really only want to be about 2-300 rpms higher then where it drops off at. anything beyond that isnt making power

x2. I am shifting mine 1-2 @ 6600 and 2-3 @ 6500.

Which is why my shift points were normally set at 6400. I dropped em down to 6200 a few weeks ago just to try something different.

I had my Z28 set to shift at 7200 with my 406 and didn't have any pump or lubrication issues. Everything was going just fine until I bolted on the slicks but that didn't have anything to do with shift rpms .

i plan to have my 370 shift between around 6600 so well see what happens. if it breaks just try again.
