Talking Rough Country 2in/4in Drop NNBS (need opnions)

Hi everyone, new to the site. I recently purchased a 2008 Silverado LT ex-cab and have been slowly making mods. I've owned others, but older.

I'm aware of all the drop suspension kits and methods out there, however I'd like to get someones opinion specifically (hopefully someone who is running/ran it) on the Rough Country 2/4 drop. Not the spindle version, the kit which relocates the bottom of the strut below the control arm.

On a recent Google fest I only found info regarding drive shaft vibration, pinion angle, shimming, etc. I've got that covered. I'm more intrigued about the method of moving the strut, and being able to align it "to spec" as they advertise.

Thanks, from the noob!

On a side note just finished swapping out the entire front end. All new parts that I had my painter color match, well except for the split grill but you guys already know about those...I'm late to the party

I don't like the idea of moving the strut below the control arm.

I used coil relocaters on the factory struts to drop them down 1.5in (you can go up to 2in) and then installed drop shackles and removed the lift block on the leaf springs.

Thanks, I really appreciate the feedback and opinion, but I'd like to hear from someone who has or did use this method specifically.

Yeah, thats what I'm starting to believe, a Google search doesn't turn much up, either.

Decided against this route and Pulled the trigger on the McGaughys 5/7 kit.
