"One exception: full bodied cars running between 10.00 and 10.99, with unaltered firewalls, floor and body (from firewall rearward - wheel tubes permitted) can compete with just a roll bar.Faster than a 9.99 you need a chassis sticker and have the car reinserted every 3 years."

the way I am reading it is you can go 10.00 to 10.99 with just a Roll Bar?

Hmmmm, we need the NHRA definition of roll bar lol!

Your right Mark, thats what it states.

EDIT:
After reviewing the image NHRA's roll bar includes the "back" braces!

The difference in Roll bars and Roll Cages can be seen below or http://www.artmorrison.com/rollcage/racebars.cfm

Morrison 4 Point Roll Bar
The Morrison 4-point Roll Bar is made from 1-3/4"x.134" Steel Tubing and is designed for "Weld-In Installation." Can be bent to retain stock rear seat, if desired. This particular configuration is not NHRA “legal” (8-point bar required). Available in Mild Steel or 4130 Tubing

Morrison 8 Point Roll Bar
The Morrison 8-point Roll Bar is made from 1-3/4"x.134" Steel Tubing and is designed for "Weld-In Installation." Can be bent to retain stock rear seat, if desired and is available in Mild Steel or 4130 Tubing

Morrison 8 Point Roll Cage
For faster cars our CAD-Engineered 8-point cage is the answer. It comes with precision mandrel-bent 1-5/8" x .134" wall Mild Steel Tubing or is available in 4130 Chrome Moly Tubing (1-5/8"x.083") for those applications where weight considerations are of primary importance. You can choose to retain the "Stock Dash and Rear Seat" if desired.

Morrison 10 Point Roll Cage
The ultimate in stiffness, strength, triangulation, safety, and performance. Each kit is made from 1-5/8"x.134" steel tubing or 4130 chrome moly. Added front and rear strutsprovide the rigidity needed to realize thebenefits of fine chassis tuning, a definite plus for the serious-minded racer. Cages include dash bar and driver’s side rocker bar and can be bent to "Retain both the Rear Seat and Stock Dash" if desired.
