Ok I really don't want to cage the truck but i do however want to be able to run all out at the track.
"Our flanges provide a method for making most any tubular part of your car like a transmission crossmember removable by simply removing the mounting bolts on either end. Each flange is laser cut for the size tubing being used and features four 3/8” grade eight nuts and bolts. Accepted by NHRA."

I was thinking about a design like this. The rear bars WILL be able to be removed.
I want to have an X back bar design which is legal! it will be look better.

Thats something a created on MS paint lol. It will have the sidebars as well, Just didnt want to clutter up the image.
The flanges will go where the blue dots are.
What do yall think?
Thanks,
Derek

Yes, You would need a lexan back window with rubber gromets because you will need to be able to fit the flanges through.
However, I was told installing the back glass really isnt hard so you can always remove the bars and put back in the real glass. Or you can just leave the lexan in.
I came to the conclusion that there is no way to build the cage without coming through the rear window (NHRA LEGAL), so i guess this is the next best thing.

Imagine this in our body style, except removable of course.
The conventional style like the image to the top left would probably be easier to remove.
I might lean towards that style. My main focus was finding a LEGAL NHRA Chassis adapter flange.

I Think it will be too hard to remove them like that, I would remove the Lexan glass with the bars. However if you do this:

It should work fine with the glass in place.
If the cage was built the conventional way then the bars should come out with the flanges on them.
