Default Rims rubing my calipers

Just wonder if there are any other options vs grinding to fit a 15 in rim on a 02 Silverado with disk breaks? I have already ground 80% of the caliper away to fit my first set of 15’s I had but now my new rims will not fit. This was all notice while converting my truck to a five lug pattern, is the anything else I can do? I have already put screws through the new rims and new slicks.

I had to use a 1" spacer when I ordered too big of an offset. If I remember correctly there was a member who installed s-10 calipers and got them to fit.

if all goes well yes, I will be ready. These damn rims are just thicker I guess than my other 15's. I am not sure how much more I can grind off before their toast. The main reason I did not go with the bogarts is me wanting to narrow my rear end, and putting in a fabed 9" from moser.

I am using a 5.5 back spacing. A spacer would not help my issue. The inside diameteris to small the rim is rubbibg the top of the caliper. What year s-10 caliper did he use?

understand your point, but theyre a good investment specially when you decide to narrow your rearend, i mean you could have gotten a good return on your investment when you get your rearend done by selling them off but no biggy bro!!!!

are the rims youre wanting to install lighter? is the width wider?

the guys name is josh, i believe, slowlsx is his username, i can pm him if ya like

see ya tomorrow !!!

I have about 12-1300 tied up in the 5 lug conversion and the summit prostars. I figured I would hold off on the more expensive rims until I have what I want. It was also easier for me to buy part at a time instead of coming up with 2k up front. The rims are 15x10 summit prostars with 28x10.5x15 hoosier on them. They are not very light, nothing like real weld prostars.

I got the numbers for the calipers from him but I haven't had a chance to get them yet.
