Riding on front bump stops on 2WD after 2" drop?

i cut mine down. rides much softer. used cut off wheel on grinder to trim the metal down. cut the v shape in the rubber w/ hacksaw and some oil. if i remember right i cut around 3/4-1" off.

Still need to "v" the rubber part for progressiveness. Before, I could feel the control arm hit the steel part of the stop with 3" coils.

So this is from a buddies 01, anyone foresee an issue running it over trimming?

No progression, probably stiff. Just trim yours mane.

That's a rear bump stop, way too short for the front.

No, that was from his front I believe 99-01 was different.
