I have 850...which was recommended by Jon at DB Rods when I ordered the kit. I put my oem bumps back on for now, I am trying to figure out what replacement to get actually, I've been searching for about an hour actually. Posted on a thread over at CGM.

So, what spring rate do YOU recommend for my crew cab?

Also, I didn't play with the firmness at all, just put them on. I will turn them all the way to one direction, and then hit the middle, and go from there

Look at my coilover thread (sig), it has pics of how I did bumpstops, cost $9 from summit. I would recommend 1000s. I actually have some 1000 7" springs if you want a deal.

what do you make of this?

I wonder if I took my drop spindles off, and just ran the correct coil and adjusted it down for the desired drop that I wanted, if that would make my ride a bit better too and put the suspension at better angles?

Good to see you got your truck back texas!

He makes a good point in that thread about the ball-joint angles, being so low mine suck, and about the Strong Arms keeping better geometry w/stock spindles, but that was for the guy that only wanted a 3" drop, don't know what it would take to get back down to 5" (at least for me).

I would like to run Strong Arms just need to know more about how much they would change distance wise.

It would probably be cheaper to just run uniballs and heims. I just like to add stuff to get a good convo going. We can't learn if we don't try.

I've looked into heims for the tie-rods looks bad *** would definitely do that.

To do uni-***** wouldn't you have to custom fab new control arms? or is there a kit already made?

Yes something like that!

This is what I found, doesn't replace the inners.

What's the setup for the inners on yours like? would it be the same for 2wd?

Center bolt screws into the centerlink and the heim attaches to the bracket. I think mine are an old cognito kit, but there is a guy on GMFS that sells full kits for a good price. Should work on 2wd...

Correct Atomic. Ffr has inner and outer. He's on gmfs. I may go with his or Brett's tukn4s
