Your hypothesis.... You're missing the point entirely and from what I've read you don't understand suspension theory. I'm passed the point of giving out lengthy explanations nor do I have the time anymore. No point in repeating what's already been written, go pick up some suspension books and do some reading.

and to clear the air imo my truck is nothing special, but I was using it as an example.

like I said in the first post... I'm not really concerned with components as I'm using ladder bars and coil overs. Just seeing if theres a general consensus as to what height works better. I know this sample group may be skewed because how you get to a certain ride height does affect this...

This is must my opinion, but i think it all relates to what components were used in the drop that equate to better traction/performance, not the actual height.... You going with a ladder bar setup kinda skews the comparisons....

i dont think ride height affects your MPH at all. you would have to be ON the ground nascar style to really cut the wind resistance out. if you dont care what componets just pick the ride height you want and throw the parts at it...

TX silver, damn my late night posts always seem harsh even though I don't mean them to ha. Came off a long day of work, working on my truck and fuel cell plumbing for a buddy. From my "books" and my real world suspension experiences , rear suspension combinations don't matter at the track, its how its set up. Anyways we could go back and forth all day but at the end we have our own "theories" we back.

Op, 4link and get your instant center correct at a specified ride height and build in the correct antisquat.
