Yeah, on Autoride trucks the Tow/Haul button calls for the shocks to tighten up to compensate for extra load/bag pressure.

Although, not getting an error is a GOOD thing. Saves money that way if the truck simply never figures out the difference.

For anyone who might have this same question in the future, I found a diagram with the appropriate length on the last page of the Belltech installation guide (the McGaughy's kit should be the same): http://www.belltech.com/extras/docs/BBGC/34324.pdf. It looks like the sensor rod length should be a hair under 2.5", probably about 2 3/8", and the finished length with the ends on it is about 3.5".
