Default Resonant bounce on freeway at about 75mph

01 Z71 ECSB Silverado....I get a resonant "bounce" at around 75 mph on concrete freeways. It goes away above or below this speed and as soon as I hit asphalt. I notice it a lot on older freeways in Phoenix, and when I drove to LA last summer it was really really bad, to the point that I had a nasty headache after about 10 minutes of it. I've heard other people mention it before, but I was wondering if anyone knew what causes it and if there is any way to get rid of it.

I don't think it's just the truck, I can do 75 all day on asphalt and never get the bounce going. Only on concrete freeways, and like I said I've heard other people with the same truck complain about it too. Maybe a combination of the light weight on the bed and stiff leaf springs and the way the concrete is laid on the freeways?

None of the above is going to fix the Highway Hop. The longer wheelbase trucks are more subject to it.....The 101 here in LA really sucks.

Man I'm glad we don't have concrete highways here. I can get some of that on asphalt. Any chance a shock might help it out?

my 2k did that at about 15K, felt like the right front tire was bouncing at 70, tried rotating and balancing tires and didn't help, so i took a tape measure and checked the front ride hieght to see if it is equal on both sides, mine was higher on the right front so i adjusted the torsion bars to level it out and did a complete alignment, i have not had the problem since, hope it helps
