if i were to do this on stock suspension with belltech shackles, would i get wheel hop?

my 96 had no overload with stock suspension 2 spindle 2 inch shackle. it pulled 1.600 60 foots and never once hopped. sprayed out the hole at track and 10 feet out on street. ran stock tires, drag radails, slicks, wrinkle wall slicks. no problem.

i dont understand why the 99 trucks go to hell when you pull them out.
