Default 4 Link GURU's Chime In!!!

I am about to start the suspension and rear end phase of my build. Just trying to get some ideas on which way to go. I plan to have about 750rwhp. I would like to keep my factory gas tank location. I am willing to move it but would "like" to keep it. I know that this has been asked about 1000x's. I searched and all I could come up with was people talking about them, no real pictures or explanations. Just trying to get a little info. I know some of you have really done you homework on this and I'm trying to do the same. Also, I have heard about a calculator that is supposed to be free to download. Couldn't find it though. Anyone have any info on this too. I am not that familiar with any type of suspension. Gotta start somewhere though. For the rear end I will be running the stock housing. It will be shortened 3" on each side with Moser axles.

I am really just wanting info like "I installed it this length and here because...."

Also, what internals in the housing has everyone been getting with my type of application?

Any help is appreciated!!!

I am not completely stuck on a 4 link. I would really like to get rid of my leaf springs though. I am really wanting to run a sick looking wheel with a fat offset. That would give me plenty of clearance and be able to run a fat tire for superb traction. What other options do I have if I want to get rid of my leafs?

ladder bar, 4 link, truck arm, 2 lower control arms and a torque arm like a Fbody.

Thats about all i can think of at the moment.

What would be the easiest? I am wanting to get some coilovers. I really like the way Blown06 done his. Not sure if I want to go through all of what he did though. That seems like a lot of welding.

I've been thinking about a full floater. Anyone running one on a truck?

Here is a complete bolt on 4 bar sys that mounts outside the frame w/ c notch. It is set up for airbags but can be converted to coilovers if you want. Could also run the bags with an adj. shock to tune it.
