rear suspension is driving me crazy

Default rear suspension is driving me crazy

When I hit a bump or a small pot hole or anything My rear end squeeks. I know its my leafs, because I greased them once and it went away. I dont want to keep grasing them every week. whats a good solution

Spray them with wd40 or tire shine.

I tried that, its alright for a few days. but after that it starts over. I dont know what the problem is.

What a couple of the off road guys do is put grease in the axles, all messy and crap, and then wrap the whole section is duct tape for a couple days to get it worked in.

Use a lubricant called "viscotine" (I think I spelled it right), it sprays out thin to get into the small cracks and then gels up to provide a waterproof lube. Can't beat it, my friend who worked in a GM plant says they use the stuff all the time. You can find it on the net, its made by Wynns.

Ill try the viscotine stuff, Ive heard my boss talking about it, but didnt know what it was for. thanks for the help guys.

I was looking at my leafsprings today and Im missing some of the pads that go between the leafs. could that be the problem.

Oh yeah, that will definately increase leaf spring pack noise.
