Default rear end whine

whining noise in my rear end is back.first off truck is dropped 2/4 and i did a gear swap awhile back and got a whining noise from the rear, pulled it apart twice and everything was set up correctly and looked good. finally swapped another set of gears and changed u-joints and it when away, well now its back. so before i tear into it today and start shimming my axle are my ujoints going out due to bad pinion angle and will they make a whining noise? any thoughts

when do you hear the whine . . . all speeds, low speed, ?

It's a loud howling noise, any vibrations?

i assume all bearings were changed with the master install kit, what would cause this to keep going out?

Whine under accel is normally the inner bearing or gears. It's improper setup and/or bearing preload 9 times outta 10

setup and not properly doing the break in and cooling will resurface the gears improperly

Drive shaft has almost no angles in it. But no vibrations, would this cause a whine in the ujoint that can't be felt? Gonna try and reshim it again
