Default rear end help!!!

Got in the truck today and the rear end started slipping on me. What rear end you guys recommend? Auburn, Detroit? I want to go posi, but I admit that I don't know crapp about rear ends so I could use some help deciding on this one. I am making a little over 300 at the wheels right now, but it will be somewhere around 500 in the near future. Thanks in advance.

the majority of people on here go with either an Eaton LSD or a Detroit True Trac. i love my true trac.

Rearend started slipping? Spinning the tire or just not pulling like it should? May be tranny troubles!

I am pretty sure it's not the tranny. The fluid is still clean and still shifts great. The drive shaft has quite a bit of play on the rear end side. I'm hoping it's just the pinion and not the whole rear end. Might just do a gear swap and see if that helps.......

My 2000 silverado was doing the same thing a while back. I was worried about it being a ring and pinion problem too but once I got the rear end ripped open it ended up just being worn spider gears.
