I don't know codes for a daytona, but get the back tires wet. Mash gas. If one tire spins all day and the truck only creeps = open diff.

That sound about right to everyone?

One tire fire.
One wheel peel.
Peg leg
etc.....

He has the SRT 22's on it and it will pill the pass tire, but he said when he bought the truck it had the Dodge 20's on it and pilled both tires?

Dodges have a sticker on the axle on the passenger side... it should say something like "3.92 Trutrac" = 3.92 gears with posi.

you can pull the diff cover off and tell on a GM if you dont have the RPO codes in the glove box. .

my G-80 WOuldnt lock every time,, it took some persuasion and several attempts.

But i wouldnt just mash the gas with the G-80 it might go BOOM...

Hold the brakes and slowly get on the gas... if one tire spins... let off and try again.

I wouldn't do that with a G-80 either but the Dodge won't have one. If you use the brakes it equalizes the drag on both axles and will cause both to spin open diff or not.
