Default rear end

does anyone know if a 2000 model rear end will fit under a 97 ??? my buddy tore the shizz outa his 97 rear end and we found a 2000 for a cheap price with a g80 in it.

you could probably get it to work, but 1 has drum brakes and 1 has disk brakes

well he needs to extra stoping power anyways, he's rolling 20's on 35's on a extended cab truck haha
