Default Rear Bounce

Okay, my OEM bumpstops are resting on the axle with my 4'' drop in the rear. Shocks are adjusted to 0 for a comfortable ride. The ride is not horrible but, I would like it a bit better.

Would c-notching the frame fix this problem or perhaps shorter, aftermarket bumpstops? What are some solutions?

Try a shorter stop. Sometimes a notch is the only way out. Did you get drop shocks too?

If short bumpstops don't work, go with a C-notch. With a c-notch, just make sure you hit the bumpstop before the shock bottoms out.

Energy has some perfect stops and they are cheap. 1 5/8" or 11/16" tall round ones. 9.9121 or 9.9102. Add an "R" to the end for red. A "G" to the end for black.

I just cut the stock bumpstops down a little; try that first. Its free and might solve your problem.

If you want hotchkiss bumpstops, I've got some from a 88-98 kit for dirt cheap
if they will work.. Brand new still in bag.
