just curious if anyone is running ratchet shifters around here. i will be doing a lot of autocross, so being to able shift/downshift knowing that the tranny is going up 1 gear or down 1 gear everytime and being able to lock the shifter out of park, reverse, and neutral, but still being able to put it on the d and cruise would be awesome. i rode in a friends 06 mustang gt with a tci ratchet shifter and i loved the way it worked. just wondering if anyone around this forum has any experience with em. there are a ton of them on summitracing.com. been looking at these few

before you say anything, the seats in my 82 c10 sit fairly low, and i am making a new tranny tunnel, so i'll be able to put the shifter where i want it

 

I'm running the megashifter on my 4l80e. It is ugly but it functions perfectly. I have had it for three or so years.
