Default Quick Corvette Servo

I hear people mentioning that they get a 2nd gear vette servo and a 4th gear vette servo. Is this two different items?

I'm currently looking at http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/CORVE...8394QQtcZphoto

will that cover all the basis? Also I noticed this one as well.. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/CORVE...8404QQtcZphoto

Is that first one REALLY ncessary? WHich ones did ya'll get?

The longer pin is not necessary. I (and most everyone else on here) just got the regular one...

I don't believe that there is a 4th gear corvette servo, i could be wrong though. OD servos or 4th gear servos is a different servo all together.

The corvette servo is larger than the stock servo so they suggest a longer pin to keep proper spacing, however, it is unnecessary...

Is there a difference between the transgo brand and the actual "vette servo" that you guys have installed?

What exactly does this servo do? Do they make them for 4L80Es to?
Is it some type of shift improvement mod?

Thanks

I can't explain in technical detail what the servo does but I'm nearly every transmission has some form of servos. The have a wider apply area so they hold more pressure which allows for a quicker and firmer shift...
