Default Question on a 2/4 drop

Will this affect launching? I want this thing lower to the ground. One it is a bitch to work on being so high and two it looks like a redneck owns it, ohh wait I may be a redneck. Where can I get a kit and how much?

Cool

I have a kit from McGaughys and they make a good kit. It use spindles up front and the ride is not changed much from stock as the stock springs are retained and there should not be any problem with alignment or turning radius. The Deluxe Kit is 9924DT #395.00 and requires 17" or larger wheels.

Hotchkis makes a good performance oriented kit that a lot of guys like for the improved handling but stiffer ride. The springs are shorter and stiffer for the front so the ride is a little harsher and the handling should be improved. Not sure if alignment will cause any issues.

A couple of other choices are Belltech and DJM Suspension .

All these kits have slightly different ways to achieve the 2/4 drop and the resulting performance varies a little from kit to kit. Launching should improve because there should be more weight transfer to the rear.
