Problem with Trans

I have a 03 Suburban and my problem is when i push the tow/haul button it shifts very hard. I know this is not normal. No codes are coming up. Any suggestions.

its normal unless its a violent slam into gears. when the tow/haul button is on your truck holds rpm's longer making it shift a little harder. do you have any aftermarket programming on your truck?

Sorry for the delay was at work. No i do not have any programming. And yes it is a violent shift.
