Default How much drop from torsions before realignment needed?

I did the 2" rear lift block and removal last weekend and backed my torsion springs down anout 8-10 turns.
It looks good and drives fine but how much is too much before I'll need a realignment from th edrop in the front?

Me personally I would only go about 6-8 and thats it after that you are going to start running into problems IMO.

You should get an alignment no matter what. Anytime you mess with the suspension geometry you should get one. Having to buy a new pair of tires is much more expensive then a front end alignment and lost time.

You'd be surprised what -1 degree of camber can do. Or even .5 degrees of toe-out can do to a set of tires.

You're suposed to get it re-aligned anytime you mess with the torsion bars. That doesnt mean I do, but you're suposed to. I would just get the height where you want it, make sure both sides are the same, and then get it aligned

When I raised my last truck about 3/4" - 1" it threw my alignment off. Not enought for me to notice but when I had it check it showed to be off.
I agree with the last two post, anytime to mess with the suspension & steering always get it aligned or at least checked out.

I did the same thing last year. Lowered it probally 2-1/2" and I couldn't tell it was out until I noticed my friggin new toyo's were starting to wear. Do yourself a favor and get it aligned.
