Default Pre-07 4L60E in a '07+ Truck?

Anyone successfully swap a pre-07 trans into a 07+ truck? Im getting P0717 that I cant shut off with hptuners, and if I drive agressively it kickes me into reduced throttle, which I assume is the result of that? Part throttle and full throttle are perfectly fine...

Take a look at your old case connector. In some 06 and 07 models there was a change to the transmissions internal wiring. In all 08 units this pin has been added. It is used for the turbine speed sensor that picks up it's signal from the input shaft also known as the turbine shaft. I think this might be the problem you have. Take a look at your old unit to see if this pin is present. Vince B
