Default Power Steering Problem?

I have a 04 Cadillac Escalade and it seems like my power steering may be going out..It struggles to turn to the right..to the left seems okay. Also when turning to the right I hear what sound like an air leak or a loud hissing sounds. It also so like its coming from the steering column itself. I was wondering if this has something to do with the hydraboost? Yet my braking seems fine. I'm at a complete loss so any help would be greatly appreciated.
