Smile Po Boy suspension? V6 springs in a sbc truck?

Just pondering putting V6 springs in front to aid in weight transfer at the drag strip.

In theory it should lift more, but I'm afraid it may want to fall faster as well.

Your thoughts?

I have no sway bar.. In that that pic I just had some cheesy s10 shocks and only had 2" of extension.. I've since added a 9/1 7" stroke shock, rides just fine.

I noticed on Rock that the v6 and v8 Coil springs for a obs is the same part #. Anyone know if the factory springs are different for different engines?
