I think my truck has the 4l60e trans. Its a 2007 nnbs ECSB z71 with a 5.3 and 3.73 gears. MOST of the time when I step on it at slower speeds, the truck feels unsure how to downshift or its just sloppy. Before I add any power, I'd like to fix/cure this if I can. I do actually tow around 7-8k like every other week, but I want to make more power and have solid shifts. I would like to do a big trans cooler, maybe servos, synthetic fluid, a deeper pan, and eventually a converter. Let me know what you guys think!

 

A Custom Tune is a good place to start.. Big transcooler will help extend the life of your trans, so should servos.

 

What servos do you guys recommend? Corvette? Sonnax? Do they still work good when towing? Definately want to beef up the trans to take some power and still have good towing characteristics!!

 

Corvette is a pretty good one and cheap.. along with a tune to help out..

all they do is give the fluid more surface area to push against, atleast thats what ive been told.

 

Anyone have a good part number for the corvette trans servo?
