[QUOTE=krambo;4066892]I got black -6AN Pushlock hose from Jeggs. I used all 25ft of it as well to go from the tranny to the cooler. Yea, with 25ft there is plenty of leftover however I haven't tucked it all up nice and neat yet so I kept all of the slack. I also turned my fittings on the tranny to face backwards. It was just a bit too tight to come out the front IMHO. Here are how the tranny fittings look:

I ran mine forward with the 90's, would be a lot better with 45* fittings. The dipstick can be quite a PITA to get in.

I found one however the inverted flare end was too short. Let me know if you find one. I was able to find a male 3/8 inverted flare to a Female -8AN but I didn't want to mess with it. I ended up using the barbed fittings that came with the cooler and -6 Push Lock hose and fittings until I find my fitting.

Here is the link to the fitting however the damn inverted side was too short!

Keep me posted!
Hey Krambo, are the threads going into the cooler 3/8 NPT? If so, would it be possible to use a 3/8 NPT to -6 AN fitting with some sealer on the threads going into the cooler?

And has anyone been able to verify what size the hard lines back to the trans are (3/8?), as well as the fitting into the radiator?

Sorry doctor, missed your post. Anyway, 3/8 NPT will not thread in...I tried (wanna buy some nice 3/8 NPT to -6AN fittings ). You can force them in there and screw up the thread pattern if ya want to...I though about it. What I was going to do when I get some free time was to cut about 1/4 inch off the cooler fitting so that the fitting that I linked above will work. UNLESS someone else has a link to a fitting that will work

Not sure on the stock tranny line size.

Darn Thanks for the info, or there might have been two of us with 3/8 NPT to -6 AN fittings for sale lol. Maybe by the time I get around to this, I'll find something that works...

Yea, I like your setup...my truck didn't come with a factory cooler though so I'd have to run the hard line a little further. Is that a "Long" brand cooler that you're running? Do you have any specs on it?

*EDIT* Just realized that Long=Tru Cool...duh
